About us

The Community Hub Little Paxton is a registered charity which exists to provide facilities to enhance the quality of life for all the residents of Little Paxton and the surrounding area.

We do this by working with you and other organisations, focusing on health and wellbeing.

The facility includes the building, car park and the adjoining sports field which are leased by the charity from HDC.

The facility was opened in 2018 having been built by the developer of the Samuel Jones Estate to enhance the community.  It has been supported by funding from the National Lottery, and most recently from HDC, Little Paxton Parish Council and Aggregate Industries.

The team are very proud of the Hub and aims to provide a friendly and flexible service to all our users.

The charity is has a Board of Trustees with up to six representing the community whilst Little Paxton Colts Football Club and Kingfisher Church can appoint two trustees each given their status as ‘committed’ partners’. There are two associate (non-voting) Trustees.

The trustees meet once a month with one of those meetings being the Annual Meeting which is open to members. There are currently spaces for a further three trustees to join the team and help further develop the facility to meet the future needs of Little Paxton and the surrounding area. Just call or email.

The Hub is supported by a small team of volunteers and if you think you could help with anything from administration to gardening please get in contact.
